Organized in 1939, the San Diego Model Railroad Club gave their first
O scale layout the name Cabrillo & Southwestern. One of the locomotives
from those days is still around and occasionally makes a trip over the line;
the caboose behind the 4-4-0 is also a historic model.

Members of the SDMRRC are building a new O scale layout at the Museum.
